Amazon Vendor Express was a program that allowed small and medium-sized businesses to sell their products directly to Amazon as a wholesale supplier. Under the program, businesses would list their products on the Amazon Vendor Express platform and Amazon would purchase products directly from the vendor, acting as a retailer.
The program was designed to provide an easier and faster way for small businesses to get their products in front of Amazon's large customer base. It also allowed businesses to benefit from Amazon's marketing and sales expertise, and to take advantage of Amazon's logistics network for order fulfillment.
However, Amazon announced the discontinuation of the Amazon Vendor Express program in early 2018, citing the need to focus on other initiatives.
As a result, businesses are no longer able to enroll in the program or sell products through Amazon Vendor Express. Instead, small and medium-sized businesses can sell their products on Amazon through the Amazon Marketplace platform, where they can act as third-party sellers and compete with other sellers for customer sales.
